Tested to work with a wide range of vehicle manufacturers
Ghost Non Detectable Immobilisers
How does the Ghost work?
Firstly installation needs to be by a professional installer, we have approved installers here at Sounds Alarming. Installation can be at our premises in Newcastle. Unlike a traditional immobiliser, the Ghost immobiliser does not have any key-fobs or LED indications to give its location away. The Ghost system uses the buttons in your vehicle, for example, those on the steering wheel, door panels or the centre console. This allows the vehicle owner to make a unique, changeable PIN code which must be entered before you can drive your vehicle. Furthermore, we can make this even more secure by having it up to 20 characters long. Basically, this is chip and pin for your vehicle!
- No wire cutting for a safer installation
- Immobilisation by communicating with the ECU
- PIN code access via buttons on steering wheel or dash
- Undetectable using diagnostics
- Cannot be bypassed with standard methods
- No radio frequency signal
- No additional fobs
- Uses the on-board CAN data network
- No relay operation, silent
- Unique user changeable PIN codes
- Secure, unique emergency code available in case PIN is forgotten
