Parking Sensors How They Work

Parking sensors work by detecting obstacles either in front or behind the vehicle. For drivers which struggle often to get into tight spaces, these can be an essential tool, preventing them from causing damage to their car.  

The ultrasonic technology is a cone of sound at the rear of your car bounces off any obstacles behind you sending it to the sensor. The time it takes for these sounds waves to bounce and return from the obstruction is the remaining distance is then calculated either in front of your or behind your vehicle, depending on where the sensor is placed. 

Reversing Cameras

For cars which come with a dashboard display, we can install a rear-facing camera help aid manoeuvring. Vehicles with a screen on the dash can be hooked up to your new onboard camera. If you don’t have a screen we can install one for you.
